Vancouver Island Wedding Videography :: D&T {Poet's Cove, Pender Island}

“I gave you my heart in the clouds.”

Energetic, beautiful , hilarious, and heartfelt. Denise and Tyler’s wedding on Pender Island was all of the above.

When I arrived at Poet’s Cove to start filming, I was delighted to see an entire team of floral designers (under the direction of Vanessa at Verbena Floral Design) working hard to create stunning arrangements for the venue. Tyler and Denise weaved their love of aviation into the details and design of the space as well.

The girls got ready in adorable matching robes, with makeup and hair by Melanie Baird and Conscious Hair by Elena. There were many emotional moments with Tyler and his family as they helped him get ready, along with some fatherly advice (something along the lines of “the answer is always yes.”)

Tyler and Denise decided to have a first look before their ceremony, followed by a photoshoot with the amazing Jenna and Tristan. I love working with those two- they’re always on the lookout for emotional and unique moments!

Their reception was full of happy surprises, including cupcakes, a photo booth, and sparklers at the end!

I wish Denise and Tyler a lifetime of laughter and big hugs!
