Yesterday I participated in the spring 2014 Westshore Wedding Show. It was lovely to meet the couples and brides attending the show, and I enjoyed connecting with other vendors as well! I had a lot of fun (and stress, being a perfectionist and all) putting my booth together, and I’m really happy with how it turned out!
The intense rain this weekend was a hurdle while packing and unpacking for the show, but I put on my gum boots and braved the elements. My fresh chalk painted tables were ruined by the downpour unfortunately, but that just means I get to paint them again (so sooothing.)
Having a wedding decorator and florist as a friend really comes in handy in times like this. The amazing Sarah from Fresh View Events let me raid her storage room at Kildara Farms. She helped me out tremendously by donating detail items to my table, such as the vases, flowers, linens, backdrop, among other decor. Big thanks to Sarah!
I would also like to thank Metropol for all they’ve done for me in the past year, even though I always wait until the last minute. All designs are by me, but Metropol printed most of the items in my booth including business cards, postcards, DVD covers, DVDs, and the large banner.
I was really excited to get my new flash drives last week for the show. All 2014 couples will be getting my new branded drives from Flashbay!
Here are a few photos of my booth:
